RESEARCH
Since 2021, CECA integrates the Associated Laboratory Associated Laboratory for Animal and Veterinary Science (AL4Animals). The Associated Laboratory is composed by CECA, CECAV from University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and CIISA from University of Lisbon.
CECA R&D groups are integrated into AL4Animals three thematic lines:
Thematic Line I - Green Animal Production
Thematic Line II - Emergent Infectious Diseases and Zoonosis
Thematic Line III - Comparative and Translational Medicine and Biotechnology.

Follow the integration in AL4Animals, the precedent thematic lines were reorganized to three major thematic lines: 1) Animal Reproduction; 2) Regenerative Medicine; 3) New Diagnostic and Therapeutic tools. The followed R&D groups operate based on this thematic lines.
